DUSKY FLYCATCHER WY-245
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
May 31, 7:32 a.m.
Sunrise at 5:45 a.m.
A dusky flycatcher cycling through his three different songs: PIT-it, pa-EET, PIT-it, prrdurnt in the first five seconds. It's that low-pitched prrdurnt that especially gives him away, together with two other sounds: The pa-EET rises distinctively, the other is the explosive PIT-it.
